He and Bron took out Shump and J Lin too. Embiid took out Mitchell Robinson. I hate when Superstars get away with this blatant unfair cheating. A guy like Olynyk gets it brought up all the time, the K Love thing, Superstars can do this shit for free. :/

Can’t remember what book it was but apparently Pierce was not impressed nor wanted Rondo to play this game.

He felt that after Rondo disrespected Doc during a film session the prior day that he shouldn’t have played.

  3. Series would’ve been another classic if it wasn’t for dirty ass wade

  4. GayForJamie

Fuck wade forever for that. Rondo was a monster.

I’ll always remember Wade as being a complete and utter bastard for this play alone. Still boils my blood watching it all these years later.

Wade was always a dirty player. History doesn’t remember that though.

  7. Prime Rondo was a joy to watch. He’ll always be one of my favorite players of all time.

  8. I feel like Wade doesn’t get enough shit for how dirty he was. He is arguably one of the dirtiest players we’ve ever seen after like the late 90s (I’m not including before that because it was common for very hard fouls and fights during games).

Compare him to somebody like Kobe. A LOT of people hate Kobe and are very vocal about it. I’m not saying they aren’t justified, but it basically comes down to him being an asshole and an accused sexual assault that nobody knows whether it was consensual or not. On the other hand, Wade was dirty hell for most of his career and literally intentionally injured somebody in a fucking all star game.

I feel like people should talk the same way about Wade as they do about somebody like Kobe.

I never liked D Wade no matter how good he thought he was.

Heat fans don’t like to talk about this and DWades countless other “questionable” plays

  11. This legit is the game that MADE me a Celtics fan.

  12. I love all the bs causal Wades dirty talk as doc rivers would literally have Paul Pierce, KG and Allen illegally buckle wades knees while they tried to defend in the post.

Wade was always a responder, if he shoved you you did something dirty first, it’s crazy how casual r/nba is

Not surprising tho to see Celtics fans still salty,
Dont worry you guys are right, if rondo was healthy the Celtics would’ve lost in 6 instead of 5 that series.

  13. no one can convince me otherwise that Dwade was one of the dirtiest players in his generation.
