  1. Herro has a similar trajectory to Bradley Beal. As far as stats go. If Herro were on another team his ppg would increase. I don’t think he’ll ever develop into a good defender. But offensively he can still improve and be more consistent. And I think he will. He’s a hard worker and he wants to prove himself.

  2. Dude just needs to stay on the court long enough to be effective. He can ball, but without consistency on the court he'll always fall short.

  3. this is getting old. everyone conveniently erases his stats pre injury. 26 pts on 45/45/92. These podcasts have peaked.

  4. he isn't paid to be a top 2 option. Bam however is paid to be a. number 1 and most nights last season he was the 3rd best player on any given night,.

  5. After 30+ years I finally walked away from this team. Therapy didn't work, I drank myself to sleep for weeks on end after blowing thousands on bets.

  6. So what’s the analysis on Bam when he got statistically worse last season? He was down on ppg, scoring %, his FT% really took a dive and so did his +-. Is he declining? And Herro is plateauing?

  7. Honestly, sure, at least with his current playstyle. There's still room for improvement in his game, and he'll probably make them but I don't think Tyler is going to take some big leap.

He's been taking the most shots on the team for the past 3 seasons and is stuck at ~20 PPG on subpar overall efficiency.

Even when Tyler came back in December after the ankle injury, he was putting up 26 PPG on 48/43/86 splits (60% TS) for his first six games back. So he was still hot and in rhythm just like he was before the injury.

The problem was that he fell off a cliff as soon as we reached 2024, putting up 19 PPG 42/39/78 (53% TS) from the Clippers game in January 1st until he got hurt against New Orleans in February 23rd (he played in 22 out of the 24 games in that stretch). So I'm not sure how much injury really affected his season compared to the possibility that he simply burned out after a hot start.

  8. The expectations he put on himself forced people to look at him to a higher degree. He is a solid player just might not be a Luka or a booker which is what we expected.

  9. What does Tyler have to prove? That he’s the 3rd best player on this team? He’s already done that. To prove he can’t be a #1 or #2? The Heat didn’t pay him to do that. Anyone who hates on Tyler is mad that he’s not a #1 or #2. But he is and never was supposed to be. He’s paid to be a #3. Imagine getting mad at the Director of a company not doing the work of the CEO. Herro hate = 🤡

Also, mental and physical prime is NOT 24😂😂😂😂. It’s 27. Come one David. You’ve been covering this league long enough and should know the history of the game
