    Jimmy Butler is a star player 🔥. Jimmy Butler is a top notch playoff basketball player who has a over 40% field goal percentage…. Butler is also going to be 36 wanting a max contract 😮💰…..

    Again Jimmy doesn't fit a young Brooklyn team that is just starting their rebuild unless Jimmy believes he can elevate this team 😮….

    But Sean Marks can't afford to be foolish with a potential $100 million cap space as well 😮…..

    The only way Brooklyn even considers signing Butler is if they draft Dylan Harper. If Brooklyn drafted Ace Bailey or Cooper Flagg and signed Jimmy Brooklyn would risk a logjam at the front court which would potentially force Noah Clowney to play off the bench and Dayron Sharpe would likely be gone after that… So that signing has a chance to potentially ruin some players development and set off a chain reaction of moves 😮…..

    Plus does a Dylan Harper Cam Thomas Jimmy Butler Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton rotation get you past the first or second round in the playoffs??? 🤔

    Again there is so much risk investing in Jimmy Butler at 36 to be the main guy when it's rare for one vet alone at that stage to make a team a championship team 😮…..

    Jimmy Butler Brandon Ingram and Julius Randle all want a max contract 💰 but should Brooklyn invest in one of them seriously??? 🤔

    I say that because whoever they sign ruins Noah Clowney's development especially if they draft a Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey and after signing one of these vets Clowney could be forced to the bench while Dayron Sharpe would likely not be extended and be traded away probably 😮….

    So does Brooklyn risk ruining player development to quicken a rebuild that could lead to another first or second round playoff exit 😨 🧐???

    Love Butler. Love his attitude. Would have been a perfect side kick for KD BUT too little too late.

    The Nets are going to have a lot of money and there are going to be players looking to take advantage of a desperate Nets team and get that big pay day. Randle and Jimmy come to mind and they cannot bite. Even if Jimmy is fine with a rebuild paying him 50 to 60 million per year on the back end of his prime make no sense.
    The nets should be in a two year tank actually because it’s not just this year folks. Next draft also has a big prize in AJ Dybunsa. So for me draft Ace next draft then taking AJ in 2026 now you doing what Boston didz
