Paul George has officially departed the LA Clippers. The duo of he and Kawhi Leonard did some great things in a Clipper uniform but ultimately ended their careers together in disappointment. Now the duo the Clippers have is Kawhi Leonard and James Harden. Will this duo be better than the 213 duo?

All great points and I agree.
One thing that I think will also contribute is the IQ of the team improves just with the subtraction of George. It’s been my opinion that the Clips were a better “team” when he was off the floor; there was a lot more ball movement and less mindless turnovers.
I also think Norm will be a little more aggressive and I expect his scoring to be closer to what he was averaging in Portland, around 20 ppg. I also expect Zu to be hovering around 15 ppg & Mann 10-15 15 ppg. I expect a top 5 seed barring any major injury setbacks.
Honestly I'm excited about this team. I believe they are gonna be way better than the last team especially with a full off-season with James Harden

As I'm new, I don't know if you already covered it, But would love an episode of our G-League team that newly moved to my hometown, San Diego, and their roster, our picks, and who might make our LA Clipper Roster and could they see some playing time. Btw…. I was a season ticket holder from 1987-88 through 2006-07 and became a fan when they became the Clippers as I was living in San Diego when they moved there. Keep up the good work…. Go Clips!!!
I think that after the Clippers parted ways with P. George, there were way too many people who were acting like "Chicken Little" and stated crying: "the sky is falling, the sky is falling". Geez, at the time the Clippers still had Russell Westbrook and James Harden. People think that Paul George is some sort of a human "deux ex machina" and although he is a very good player, the Clippers have not fallen off a cliff without him.
If people critize James Harden for being so old and on being on his latest team of many, well the same goes for Paul George. They are of similar age and have been with multiple teams in their careers, except for Harden being in one more team than George.
It is not that bad. I wish the Clippers had kept Westbrook, but that is just me. Both he and Harden seemed to have accepted their roles in L.A. and sort of wanted to remain here.
As far as that other team in L.A., its' funny how the Lakers failed to make any real improvements on the team, yet they are lauded as being a better team with better posibilities than the Clippers. Ridiculousness.
It has been said, that a sign of insanity is trying to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results each time. The Clippers simply could not keep the same team for another year. For whatever reason, injuries, bad luck, wharever, that roster just didn't work. Here is to a better seaon in '24 – '25.

I always said this was addition by subtraction, pg and kawhi does the same thing and pg is little worse at it. So now we can run it more through kawhi with a clear pecking order and harden holding the ball more doesnt bother us as much it did last year cuz no one else really needs it outside of being set up except kawhi

To me, biggest factor will be Norm's contrbution as a starter.. If he starts then settles down as the 2nd option, yeah 2nd option, then he might compensate the loss of PG.. Remember Norm had a great playoff against the Suns last year..

Tbh from the rumours of Harden trade to being traded I'm not liking it but you have to appreciate that he's doing his thing on being a clippers. These are the differences with him on PG, Harden makes Kawhi show his emotions, he can help his teammates in their game, he could probably played more games and definitely he can take less money to make way for others. Even up to this point like the management are wanting guards after guards that the 213 era needed a true point guard. No publicly complaining about the schedule. Health alongside with luck will help this team win.
James harden half court offense is too slow and won’t cut it . he tends to be lazy and walk the ball up and we need easy baskets . i just don’t trust harden or his heart .
Don’t forget that we have get rid of the ultimate toxic team cancer in Westbrook. To put into perspective, we are literally talking about putting a player with a big time offensive liability that paralyses the team for 22 mins per game, taking away valuable shot opportunity and mins from other teammates. Not only that, he has the most fragile heart in basketball that need babysitting every time you sub him. And you cannot define addition by subtraction in basketball any better than Russell Westbrook.
I’d say we FINALLY have a real basketball TEAM this coming season, not a bunch of people with superstar mentality (but not superstar capability).
There a trade away from being a legit contender some trade targets should be Jalen Suggs and or both Jonathan Issac gives you starting 2,4 and worried about jI health that’s why you got djjj

If the Celtics is the favorite of the championship I'm not too worried. Because Clippers tends to be a good match up against them. Although a great post player and rim protector will be nice. So Kawhi can focus more on offense. I don't doubt Kawhi defense but the less defense Kawhi does the less taxing his body take. Clippers will only go as far as Kawhi goes.

Jrue is the best POA defender. White is the best rotation of help guard defender.
KP or al are the prototypical modern big. Zu is a dinosaur big.
And both jays are way better than PG. PG lack of strength or physicality and consistency means he will always disappear when defense gets tougher.
