    • Kerr was hired 11 days after the Warriors were ousted in the first round 7 game series vs The Clippers.

    • Two months after that, GM Bob Myers signed free agent Shaun Livingston, giving the team a third productive guard behind Curry and Thompson.

    • Kerr, a first-time coach, went to Australia to visit Bogut and build a rapport with the Warriors’ starting center.

    • In mid-September, Myers heeded Kerr’s recommendation to sign free agent Leandro Barbosa as the fourth guard.

It’s interesting to me how much credit Kerr gets over Jackson. Dude got a healthy Bogut, Shaun Livingston, Barbosa and Andre Iguodala.

Not taking anything away from Kerr and not saying that Jackson could have accomplished the same things as Kerr, but the championship team was much different than the playoff team that lost to the Clippers the year before.

The year before the those guys were Marshon Brooks, Jordan Crawford, Tony Douglas and Steve Blake…
