This team is obviously in somewhat of a waiting situation. So, what moves should this team make in the meantime?
Personally, I want to see them get Ace/Dylan Harper in the draft (and not Cooper). Flagg is better, but I just want to see Ace or Harper get the ball every play and hoop for the Nets.
They have multiple firsts this year and the draft has some High upside players (even later). Maybe Hugo Gonzalez or Ben Saraf for example as tall athletic Guard (Ben) and Wing (Hugo)…
miss the 2022-23 ssn nets, they had a special roster feel like theyd go far in the playoffss that ssn. I wish kyrie gave that team a chance and didn't decide to leave at the trade deadline just to miss the playoffs with the mavs

Statistics say it's impossible there are no Nets fans in such a huge market. They have had some great teams over the years, and real fans stay with teams thick and thin. They are thin now but a nice buffet lays in front of them. Development of young players will be interesting.
They’re going to set a record further number of different starting lineups, and Simmons will start at least one at 1,4, and 5. (Props for actually having a rational take on him, by the way. Almost nobody does.)

No suprises here with nets being last in east. Team Blow it up under away. No one on this roster should be untouchable. However this deadline it will probably come down to the handful obviously candidates. Cam johnson, finneysmith, schroeder, possibly sharpe and maybe simmons expiring contract. Sucks they are missing their 2027 pick due to a swap with houston so that yr will be rough however just take on any unwanted contracts and get more picks.
I feel like you could say any team with cam johnson and it be like yep that makes sense. Sharpe like u said i wouldnt be mad if they kept because he is still quite young and they need to win some games. Finneysmith its just disappointing he still on the roster and needs to be gone, schroeder i feel might be easier to trade if they pair him with like cam j, or sharpe.

As a nets fan im excited to see what we can get out of clowney and wilson, think they can both be great role players in the nba. Whitehead is super raw and has missed out on alot of development with his injuries but hopefully he can stay healthy and make good on some of his potential since he was such a high ranking player in HS. CT is averaging 26/4/4 this szn
