On a serious note, summer league was a pretty good example of what he *could* bring to the team. His shot wasn’t falling, but he was hustling trying to do everything else.
When his shooting *is* hot, that level of effort will ensure that he is a positive impact player regardless of the team’s competitive level.

He’s a hardworking kid and I don’t think he’ll be happy with just being a shooter. I could definitely see him adding more to his game.

He will create off his shot, grab boards and dish assists. His Bball IQ seems to be quite high.

It was always clear to me that Gradey has a great feel for the game. If he avoids shooting slumps and holds his own on defense (we should hide him on the weakest opposing player), he should have a great season.

Something that isn’t bright up in the below comments is his cutting ability. He seems to have quick, hard, and we’ll run cuts where he is actively looking for the ball. Good finish around the hoop too with decent athleticism.
I was also impressed with his passing last year. Makes quick reads, and fires fast passes.
Had a few moments where he’d make a hard cut. Get the ball which would draw defenders who were out of position, and then fire a pass to an open man. He had a beautiful pass to Scottie Barnes for a corner 3 last year that looked quite natural for him.
Love this kid and could see him being a very solid player who fits extremely well around Scottie (not to mention BBQ) in general.
