These NBA coach rankings are terrible
CBS Sports recently released their top 30 coaches in the NBA list, ranking the best NBA Coaches (and the worst), and my goodness is it a bad list.
From Joe Mazzulla ranking in the top ten, Steve Kerr in the top 5, to Gregg Popovich barely top 15 and Chris Finch outside the top 10, there’s a lot to unpack.

This list is about attention and politics, nothing more.
Thibs should be somewhere closer to 5. He took over a bad Knicks team and took them to the playoffs. Unlocked Randle and Isaiah. The team is really built around Tom.
Chris Finch staying underrated
chris finch is an undisputed top 5 coach in the league right now imo
The top two are Pop and Spo. Everyone else starts after
7th
Finch and Mazzulla are better than Bud and Ime.
They got Jason Kidd at no 18 which is insane considering the mavericks just went to the finals as a number 5 seed
Ty lue stays overrated while michael malone way underrated…
Show me another coach who taken a 2nd rd pick turn them into MVP amd win a chip with only 1 all star
Ty lue has coached 7 hall of famers. Other than the years with lebron in weak east he has sucked with clippers. Ty lue a genius tho according to that ranking
