I’d never forget this season. This was the LAST season of the Mamba in his truest PEAK form. In 2012-13, Kobe willed the Lakers into the playoffs with 5-6 game remarkable game winners. They started the season with new additions Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, firing Mike D’Antoni and hiring Mike Brown whom had this cockamamie idea of running a motion Princeton offense negating the two dominant post players in Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard, leading the team to an abysmal 17-26 start. Kobe staged a mutiny in the locker room and scraped that Princeton offense for PhilJack’s triangle offense and the Lakers went 28-11 the rest of the way but in the process, Kobe sacrificed his career and his achilles in the GSW game in the 80th of that season.
