I don't think Bogan will be bought out. There isn't a good reason the Nets should.

Brook Lopez and Middleton
for
Claxton and Cam Johnson.
They shave $2.6M off their cap sheet. If the Nets can make this trade without tripping the repeater tax, we can get a 1st Round Pick or two from them.

How stupid would it be to buy him out. Play him.. If he's doing good trade him at the deadline. Where do they get these stupid posts from .
Ben Simmons and Bogs should both be waived no question. Not only does it open up Roster spots but you get rid of two players who shouldn’t be part of the future of this team and their veteran status are gonna want minutes because they’re gonna want new contracts, so why have that headache on the roster?
It’s always nice to have a few veterans on your team but veterans on one year contracts are not so good because these guys are gonna wanna play basketball not sit behind young players as they develop and that could be a problem for the nets.
