  1. I'm not angry he left. I'm angry at how he left. However, I feel bad that his body has been failing him, and it might be getting worse. I never want to see any player injured.

  2. Karma sure did catch up to him after he did the spurs dirty and honestly he did us a favor so we didn't have to deal with his injury prone body later on and got an opportunity to land a generational talent in victor. Just think he needs to hang it up and call it quits to live a normal life with his family so he won't end up in a wheelchair.

  3. His career could've been at best if he stayed with us. But we are such a great organization that we turned things around from that nightmarishly bad situation. Look what we have now.

  4. Yeah Karmas a beach! Why are we looking back i dont care what has happened or happened to Kawhi …he can only win a championship if theres others doing the heavy lifting.

  5. Not our problem, let Uncle Dennis fleece a hospital for #2 then make the media talk shit about the hospital and it's staff not doing a good job taking care of #2.

  6. I agree BUT we are still to this reaping fruits from his departure. I also disliked him at the end of his spurs era and how they threatened to sit out the season if he wasn’t traded.

  7. Tony Parker and Manu gave the Spurs the biggest assist in NBA history literally.
    Wemby!
Raptors won 1 title, but the Spurs are now set-up for multiple title runs.
Meanwhile, Kawhi career looks to be over.

  8. The way he left was terrible and hard not to be mad at the time . As time passed I got over it . Not hating on him , sad to actually see it happen to a really good player

  9. Kawhi wanted to play on this year's olympic team. He was with them for a while. Then the news came out that he decided to prepare for next season instead of competing in the Olympics. Derrick White took his place. Many speculated that there was much more to the story than we were given.

  10. i told my friend shortly after he left and i think somewhere online.. that his DRs migthtv said somesort of timeline – countdown that was like ""if u stay playing nba .. u have X years left for being able to walk"" or something pretty sure somewhere they said he had calcification of his ligaments ? or cartilidge .. i forget where and what they said but i took it at face and said he probably going to retire here within like 5 years after he signed the clips..
and that was probably WHY his camp intially wanted out of SA, so he could just play close to home until it was that time to go

  11. I’m not angry he left….. it was both sides that were at fault…. The way we handled it was awful (but I’m glad he got a second opinion) and Tony Parker running his mouth….. and his camp playing Hokey Pokey too

  12. You know time put things in perspective…like i was mad and angry at him for leaving, but now I remember him for what he was for the team and the ring he won with the Big 3, so I'm thankfull and wish him luck

  13. All I can say is , now you know Kawhi didn’t fake an injury to get out of SA. I do think the mainstream media wanted Kawhi out of SA and in a bigger market. So they ran with the narrative that Kawhi wants out. Kawhi was not mature enough to address the rumors which made things worse.

  14. Sorry. Not sorry. Hopefully, for him, it's not a debilitating injury that will affect his daily, personal life. But from an NBA perspective- buh-bye.

  15. Ballmer letting PG go knowing this was a HUGE possibility is why you have to question the basketball business acumen. There was zero market for Harden — you lowball him & keep PG, so there are reasons for the fans to go the Intuit Dome. And Harden would end up staying because there’d be no better offers — 20 million max. Then again, extending Kawhi at a max was always a dicey proposition.

  16. Not so bad to lose him, would have been nice to get an extra ring. he only plays 9 games a season though.
