I agree, and the wild part is that I think most Celtics fans would say there is a lot of room for improvement, particularly with respect to their playoff run. They only lost 3 games, but what would that have looked like without a (relative) shooting slump from our two best players and the nearly complete absence of KP? The NBA’s best hope is injuries. I’d love to see ridiculous amounts of bench time this year, even if it costs us a few games.

And for once, I’m extremely happy that nothing’s changed from last year to this. Advantage locked in for years to come?

You can say “top 5 all time” and it’s still true.

Once they started to play as a “Team” you saw greatness.

I just don’t see how things change this year either.

    1. Thunder are the scariest by far as they have talent and depth
    2. Nuggets just got worse for the 2nd straight season
    3. Mavs are basically the same team we just beat in the Finals easily
    4. Wolves are also basically the same team, but without Anderson and Conley being a year older
    5. 76ers have a ton of talent, but Embiid and George just aren’t reliable to be on the court. Honestly, neither are some of their role players
    6. Bucks never figured their shit out and I have no reason to believe that they will. Middleton is a myth and Giannis has been just as injury prone as Embiid
    7. Knicks are probably the scariest team in the East, but they need to make a move at the 5 before I can take them seriously as a threat
    8. Pacers are the same team
    9. Magic still have a long way to go
    10. Cavs are the same team
    11. Heat might be closer to a rebuild

I’m thinking maybe the Thunder and Knicks can knock us off if Porzingis is out. I also like the theory of the 76ers, but as of now they are just a theory. Magic might be able to make some leaps from their young players and they’d change my mind.
