Masai is a genius. He didn't want Net to get the shine so he stole their thunder by retiring VC jersey first!
Don't care for the sorry. We got a championship doing it the right way and limited dunking. VC gets HOF and retirement jerseys which promotes Raptors and the ring is better.
VC returns the favor by being inducted as a Raptor. He is smart also because he gets inducted as the first Raptor!
Yes its the right thing to do. VC put the raptors on the map, likely saved the team from being sold, and influenced a generation of canadian players and kids. Haters need to get over it.
Kyle will of course get his number retired, who cares thats it not the first? Its based on when they played.. VC being first doesnt mean kyle isnt still the GROAT
VC was the first star of the franchise, that 15 jersey with the dino is worn everywhere. If it weren't for him we'd end up like the Grizzlies, meaning not in Vacouver anymore. Kyle isn't even retired yet, I don't agree he should be first, he will be eventually.
