Michael Beasley was desperate for more minutes with New York Knicks | Club 520

Jeff Teague and the Club 520 guys are joined by Michael Beasley, where he talks about playing for the New York Knicks with Kristaps Porzingis. Beas had one of his best NBA seasons in New York as he says he treated it like summer time. His main focus was just to go out there and hoop, and it lead to one of his best seasons as a pro.

  1. If we keeping it šŸ’Æ, watching the entirety of that season with Courtney selling, Jarrett somewhat regressing, Doug not seeming comfortable, Joakim drama, frank ntilikina, and mind boggling rotations.. it's clear that team was not hitting playoffs regardless and I'm a knick fanšŸ˜‚

  2. I definitely think he should retry with the Knickā€™s right now Iā€™d love to have him back on this championship run for a two year contract or so

  3. I blame coaching n him being ahead of his time Mike would be perfect in this era a big that literally had a guards game n jumper n can pass there is no 1 or 2 that can check him heā€™s avg a dub in todays game easy heat lakers n Knickā€™s didnā€™t know how to use him

  4. I knew it was more to it and it makes sense. Spo trying to get him to be a traditional PF like Malone or Boozer. It was a stupid way of thinking for Spoelstra. Albeit immature, you had one of the greatest scoring talents at the 4 ever, and you trying to turn him into Carlos Boozer. Just an immature young coach. Then, 2 years after you trade him, you Put Bron at the power forward and Bosh at the Center and won rings. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  5. All that talent and he played under 700 games for his NBA career. Such a strange trajectory.
