lmfao I knew that shit would backfire.

I know everyone wanted to cut Spencer but I think it should’ve been Beekman, dude cannot shoot and is a long term investment. Fucks sake we shoulda held onto this guy.

  4. hellahomebody

Low key this better not be the reverse situation of GPII over Bradley if they end up signing Knox to a guaranteed deal.

Good for him, I liked him for us in the summer league so it’s a shame we didn’t get him back but oh well.

  6. ArtfulLying

Annoying. Pat or Reece don’t matter, drop them instead of the only guy with actual nba potential.

  7. richstyle

What a loss. Stupid they waived Plowden over Pat Spencer. I will never understand that shit

Beekman isn’t good at anything I don’t understand the hype

Hope Plowden breaks out this year.

Hate to see him go, but we have half a dozen perimeter guys on the ROSTER who may not see much playing time.

Based on the possibility of seeing playing time, Marques Bolden is the guy I’m sorry didn’t make it to a TWC.

He probably realized his playing time was going to be all in Santa Cruz and asked to be released. Good for him. I hope he has a good career.

I thought we were just praising our front office and Dunleavy?

    Bad move.

I can’t believe we let this guy go over Beekman or even Spencer man. It’ll hurt but I hope this guy does well in Atlanta

Holy actual fuck. The FO better PRAY Beekman turns out to be decent because of Plowden even becomes a serviceable role player, this is an all time boneheaded decision that was so simple

  15. MutatedApe10

I’m guessing that the front office let Plowden go because they didn’t want to give him a full contract and Hawks said they would which lead to Plowden force his way out. Unless the Hawks contract is a two way then I the Warriors should have kept him.

This franchise loves small guards with no upside over athletic players with positional size. Insane.

Seems like a misplay from the FO. Get he’d have been backend depth, but talent is talent. Seemed the most likely to contribute out of all the two-ways. Hopefully they see something they really like in Beekman and Spencer

    Good for Plowden

There must be a reason for this bullshit! FO can’t be this dumb.

  19. Just fucking stupid. This front office absolutely does not get the most out of the end of roster spots. Most seasons they get nothing out of them. How they operate in deciding who to prioritize for roster spots 12-15 + 2 ways is so convoluted. I presume it’s because those decisions are not made purely with trying to fill them with the most appropriate options to help the current team. Always filling them with redundant players or prioritizing “their guys” who are clearly not nba talents over guys who fit more of a positional need or have a bit of potential. The camp workouts and even summer league are largely pointless. It’s not an actual competition for spots. They’ve already decided who they want to push. Front office guys have their own guys they want to push for whatever reasons. Favoritism is too much of a factor in warriors front office decision making.

  20. lol, way too many in this thread are upset about an end of bench player getting signed.
