Makes sense. The best players in the salary range of the KJ deal are guys still on their rookie contracts.
The Sixers do have really good draft capital actually to facilitate a trade should they choose to empty out some of those clippers picks.
They have the potential to go big game hunting still, but on a young guy
Would also have the benefit of forming a young duo with Maxey that can carry on even as Embiid/PG age out
Tari Eason is a name that interests me. Rabid rebounder, can hit the occasional 3, was like a 95th percentile defender in EPM, but the Rockets might want to consolidate their roster to open up minutes for other guys and he’s coming off a big injury

Call me crazy, but I can see a world where the Pelicans choose Jones & Ingram, leaving Murphy III as the odd man out. Especially if we can entice them with McCain + 1sts
