Golden State Warriors News Today comes as Golden State general manager Mike Dunleavy and Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke to the media prior to the Warriors training camp which begins October 1 in Hawaii. Dunleavy and Kerr discussed the summer’s Warriors trade rumors that saw them miss out on Paul George and Lauri Markkanen, the Warriors free agency additions that should improve the team defense, contract extensions for Jonathan Kuminga & Moses Moody as well as a lot more planned for the 2024-25 NBA Season. Mike Dunleavy On Golden State Warriors Trade Rumors:
“We’re probably as impatient a franchise as you can be right now given our time horizon and all that. But there’s a fine line between impatience and undisciplined. I feel good about the discipline that we held this summer and the roster we built and the growth from within that we’re going to have. I know everybody is always looking for big headline breaking news and all that, but I really like this team.”

“The positive of that is that is a little bit unknown and so going out every night if you’re an opponent you say ‘Who do you have to stop besides Steph Curry?’ The good news is, maybe they don’t know either I think for us, whether it’s Wiggs, JK, or Brandin who can score the ball, I think we have a lot of ways to do it. Some nights it’s going to be different guys. But as I alluded to earlier, I think a little bit with the uncertainty is exciting, in the sense of ‘We got some things to find out’.”

First, all these talking heads were down on Wiggs, but I bet he is going to Ball out!!! Secondly, anyone who thinks that PG or Marken would have made this team better after trading all the young guys is nuts! I love I think they are going to surprise a lot of ppl they have everything you need, and if you were watching TJD is going to Help change this team with a line up of steph wiggs JK Dray and TJD! And have Podz and Moody leading the second unit
Here’s an example for all the inpatient people, remember the Westbrook trade? Or the Beal Trade? The last two trades that actually did something are kawai to the raptors and I guess the prozingis everything else has been an over pay. With the new roster and salary cap rules if we miss on a trade our team is going to suck for like 10 years.
I would like to see that big guy they drafted adjust to the NBA as quickly as TJD did, and then you might be a serious contender
Their record, I have no flipping idea. I’d like to,say 52 wins which would mean JK becomes a monster and Melton returns to form, and they are able to make a trade for a quality big (Wiggs has to be gone) If everything goes perfectly 52 and 30.. I agree the disciplined approach was good. This team is fatally flawed as is..,too small, too much repetition in roster make up.
So they will on Andrew Wiggins but not Klay Thompson. Does anyone know how little Klay was willing to play for just to stay a Warrior.
To listen to Steve Kerr talk, they act like Klay had no desire to return.
Klay even offered to come off the bench. But on the other hand the Warriors paid him well for those 2 years he didn't play.

They could not aquire superstar because dunleavy is weak in marketing management.and also kerr why he don't want a reliable bigman .they always like a player from their gleague player and free agent has been release by the other team.they lost Klay and Paul and getting nothing and now jk will be the next .this is why dunleavy is very in marketing
