  1. We just not falling for the stupid stuff anymore not saying he’s not in shape but we’ve been doing the same two step for 12 years. We know how Joel body Works in Philadelphia.

  2. Just went back and watched Embiid's rookie highlights after this, and you are right, he was an absolute freak. If he was still that explosive with the skills he has now it would be over for the league. Even if he loses the weight, that speed and agility wont return.

  3. Play him 5 games every month. Avoid teams like Boston in the regular season when he has to put more effort. We got PG and Maxey to make sure we still avoid the play-in. I know non-sixers fans will clown Joel and the Sixers but as a Sixers fan I don’t care anymore just BE HEALTHY in the play-offs. Doesn’t matter if we’re being clowed and underestimated the entire season. A ring will fix everything.

  4. We are not appreciating the greatness of an amazing generational talent because he hasn't won a chip??? This is media rhetoric, not a hooper's take. Champions matter, but they're also circumstantial. But having an amazing player to watch every night for an entire career for a real hooper is just as thrilling. Ive never seen anyone like Embiid. He has my respect as an all time great chip or not.
    🐐 💩 🔥

  5. lol the yearly “Embiids in shape video”. As certain as taxes and death. Having said that, this is the best video on the subject I’ve ever seen because it really doesn’t matter what he does in January against Detroit and San Antonio.

  6. Hey DJ appreciate the sincere breakdown of Big Jo – love the Player and the Man off the court – bottom line he just needs to lean on Tyrese and PG – and pick and choose when to cook – sort of a twilight superstar role to accept in order to win it all…btw the role players we now have are what Jo and the Sixers have been lacking…🤙🙏guess I’m a lifetime Siko

  7. I disagree to a point dj, I wouldnt say and of career. yeah Joel is nearing the end of his prime that is 100% facts nothing can stop a player from declining unless they’re Lebron w multiple bodies 😂😂 but I think Joel’s floor as an nba player can still get you 20 5 and 5 at 34+

  8. Summer clips of Joel being in "shape" are right up there next to the annual videos of Simmons hitting threes in a rec-center game.

  9. I love Joel but we say this every year he always gets out of shape come playoff time which is a big reason why he’s not healthy and can’t perform in the playoffs hopefully this year he actually stays in shape tho
