I am a Grizzlies ride or die and I would love to see Ja win MVP but I don't see a world where it doesn't go to SGA or Doncic. I'm excited to see how the Grizz match up to the contenders in the west.
I made that comment and no way you can think just because you have smart, Jaren, Bane and no chemistry you going to win. Smart played one preseason game which hurt the team. Add in the fact that Jenkins was replacing the offense, defrnse, and new assistant lead coach. Missing your replacement shooter who would start and center who lead the league in offensive rebounds the last two years. And the back up center make it very hard to overcome. I highly doubt Jenkins would have ran a lineup of smart,bane, Zaire,Tillman, and Jaren in practice. And stars make the league but team wins games. It’s a reason the Lebron and Westbrook thing didnt work. Chemistry played way more of the part in the 1-8 start yall. I don’t think no team can succeed losing that much
Grizzlies still have a superstar who is well rested . They have a defensive team that can score .
