  1. there’s so many different things this trade does.

Knicks abandon that “Nova” culture to go get KAT, which means they thought they probably won the trade, maybe by a lot. Knicks also get a “real” center, who isn’t amazing there but has history against bigs like Jokic, which tbh doesn’t fair well for us.

I’d still say we’re better than New York but it’s closer than it was last year, even though we probably got better. The west is stacked, the easts top 3 teams are stacked, this is gonna be a crazy year…

  2. Kat is overrated, I saw Jaylen Brown guard him and Kat couldn't do much against him. Randle also couldn't do anything against Brown, Both are big bodies but they rather play soft….

  3. Nope. This was a rare instance where it was a bad trade for both teams. Kat is the ultra Anti Tibs style player. Then Randle, on a contract year will try to hog the ball over Ant and that will be interesting. The Knicks still have to give 8.8M in salary to Charlotte for this trade to become good so their bench will likely be minus DiVencienzo and either Mitchell or Achuwa/mcBride so once the playoffs start and the Knicks are overplayed and injury riddled they won’t have any depth.

  4. This is bad for us from a west perspective. With this trade the only threat for Joker and the nuggets are the mavs. I dont want Joker in the finals.

  5. Problem is knicks got no bench plus Kat can't play defense his defense is foul prone plus make him defend the pick n pop pick n roll wear him out then his offense will be a no show because he will be worn out

  6. I think this will make the Knicks a lot better and match up nicely against the Celtics. Which is why they did it. KAT is sort of like KP. He was just in the wrong spot. Everyone thought KP was crap until he was put in a spot to be successful and that’s what they just did for KAT.

The Knicks and the 76ers have now crafted squads to pose a real challenge for the Celtics and I am here for it. Bring it on!

  7. KAT doesn’t seem like a Thibs kind of player. Hes soft. And I find it hard to believe those players are gonna sacrifice for each other.

  8. Kinda bad take. Zingus health is always in question, and the Knicks have 2 lock up wings to go against brown and Tatum. This Knicks team will be top 3 offense and defense, and the Celtics most likely will be too
