This is a nothing burger. Basically he wanted a bigger role and was going to have less of that with the nova Knicks. Now with Wolves he has a bigger role.

He earned a bigger role, we acquired better players. Simple as that. Wish DiVo nothing but the best, still gonna cop that team italia bball jersey maybe

This trade makes more sense if we are staying rational with this news.

It that a reliable source?? No idea who he is!! I am in 🇬🇧 though.

  5. I remember when we traded Obi and reports came in was unhappy, I called BS too.

    Then they dropped the tapes.

Not saying it means this is a closed case but the FO seems to know how to keep info internal

When Randle went down he averaged something like 28 points. Top shooter in the league. Delivered in the playoffs. It would not be surprising if he wasnt happy about going to the bench, playing 15 and not closing.

Youd assume he enjoyed the teammates and the environment.

Its fair on his part to feel some kind of way about being demoted after the year he just had.

It ‘sounds’ like they had hoped to keep divo out of this deal—if meech and ju were the primaries, then divo gets to start and all is well is what my reading of the totality of the situation is.

Minny wasn’t doing it without him. Here we are.

Remember that all leaks are done for a purpose. These sort of stories to knock players after a front office makes a move make me sad.

Donte had a great year and was a dog. He fought hard and is going down in highlight history for that three.

Let’s leave it at that and wish him the best.

He gets the opportunity to secure the bag in Minnesota. I understand it. He’s extremely underrated.

Player gets traded. Stories come out.

It’s a law. Like gravity or dinosaurs

I totally get where Donte is coming from because he 100% earned a starting job for us last year and he should be playing 28-30 mpg. With Mikal starting I think there would be some games he gets less than 22 mpg and probably doesn’t close many games.

I’d defer judgement until confirmed by reliable means. He’s starter level talent for sure.

  13. Odysseus_Lannister

He’s a starting caliber guard and a sniper from deep. Always puts in hustle 100%. If he was mad about playing time, I get that but I strongly doubt he was mad about playing with his boys. The vibes were pretty immaculate and these dudes seemed like genuine friends on and off the court.

  14. Ah the mud-slinging begins. Fucking gaslighters.

  15. I get wanting to be a starter but at the same time Divo coming off the bench would have been best for the team. So if this was his attitude then it’s fuck em and we move on. I feel so bad for Julius though!!

  16. tbh Divo deserves to start every single night, and with bridges he’s gonna find himself off the bench a lot. unfortunately he’s not gonna really start in Minnesota, hopefully they can flip him to a team where he can

Every time a player gets demoted they’ll say “I’ll do anything to help the team” but privately they’re fuming.  We all thought Donte would be happy to have his friend come in, but let’s be honest his friend came in taking his spot.

I don’t think he was fond of going back to the bench but he loves his Nova bros so I call BS on that.

  19. I think he’ll fit in well with Minnesota, especially if Conley sticks around. A good comp would be JJ Redick on a team that needs high-percentage shooting.

I’m excited for the mouth breathers shitting on the trade to respond to this
