PSA If you disagree with this ranking you Do Not watch NBA basketball fr. You are just speaking from a non factual basis casual perspective, the Lakers beat the Bucks in both matchups without Lebron James. I don’t know why y’all are trying to treat the lakers like they’re the Detroit pistons but obviously yall are not in tune with the reality of the teams you speak of.
I think Jason made his criteria pretty clear at the begging, the lakers have 2 top 10 players in the league and a pretty decent supporting cast, which 8 will take over the bucks except Bobby then there is the 2 first and salaries tools than the bucks don't have and that's just facts
Maybe NYK & Boston will beat each other up, Jimmy turns into Michael Jordan again for the Heat for the first few rounds, or the Sixers will get lucky, and the Bucks make it back to the Finals. Then maybe they run into a Thunder team or something, that isn't quite Finals ready.

Loving the film study, but would it be possible to shrink your image and show a larger image of the game? When you're showing half a court on a relatively small screen, sometimes it can be hard to track what's going on without pausing first to orient myself.

Having the Bucks ranked below the Lakers is laughable. Even with all of their clunky issues, essentially three coaches between two seasons, injuries, and bad fit with an undersized and defensively inept backcourt (which the Lakers also have), their starting lineup had the best net rating in the league by far. Better than the Celtics who had a historic win differential and also played bottom of the barrel teams in the East. head to head the Bucks have the 3 of the top 5 best players. Yes, Khris Middleton is better than both Russell and Reaves.

JJ is gonna turn the Lakers starting 5 into a formidable unit. I don't even like the Lakers but you can argue they got better this offseason with the addition of a coach that understands basketball nearly to the level that LeBron does. Go Warriors!
The Bucks being 9th is ridiculously low and having them below the Lakers is just insane to me. Lakers are a good team but they aren't better than the Bucks and many of these other teams that are gonna be ranked above them aren't better than them either imo. Mailbag question: Jason, I'm a very sad timberwolves fan after finding out we traded KAT. I'm trying to find the positives. Is it freeing up cap space? Appearantly donte and Randle have big contracts so we're at net worse off then before? Or could it be something else. With no Kat were less equipped to take down jokic and the nuggets.
