There’s a lot to appreciate about Russ but I wonder if Denver is going to have to lie to placate his ego.
Clippers lied about him voluntarily accepting his bench role and probably lied about how he gave up a lot of money from many suitors around the league to re-sign in free agency.
He’s going to play well in the regular season and people will be surprised by his on ball defense, people then will say that Jokic unlocked him as if he wasn’t good for the clippers last regular season, and lastly, when the playoffs start, he’ll start taking jump shots instead of being a play finisher and he will shoot his team out of games. That’s my prediction.
