Last season, there were only two wings/forwards in the NBA to average 2.5+ corner three-point attempts and shoot 40% or better on those corner 3PT attempts:
OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges
Last season, there was only one starting center in the NBA to shoot above 40% from three-point territory:
Karl Anthony Towns

you can never have enough spacing but randle was also a spacing creator bc stats show that he had a 97th percentile gravity rating showing he could not be and was not ever left alone

so spacing would have been good with randle too.. like a jb ddv mikal og randle lineup would be spacing heaven
Randle, Hart, and Mitch/I-Hart were always big time spacing issues. You could live with a rim protector and rebounder at the five but in the modern NBA having a low 30’s streaky shooter at the 4 while also having a guard/wing/forward in Hart not be a good shooter was always an issue.
Now with KAT at the 4/5 and Bridges/OG/Jalen/Deuce all being consistent mid to high volume shooters the Knicks are gonna have good spacing esp if Kolek or Payne can come in and be a solid shooter to round off the bottom of the rotation
Wouldn’t be a Beer post without arbitrary dependent variables thrown in so he can make the point he was settled on making before he actually looked at stats.
We will play incredible defense
We will shoot 3s at an above-average %
We will win
