  1. KAT isn't worth Julius and Divo but replacing Julius and Divo with KAT and Mikal complement JB better.

  2. The Knicks continue to build and the T-Wolves are looking to the future trying to make something happen while ANT is there. Makes sense to me

  3. "If it's not broken. Don't fix it"all Knicks needed was a center at trade deadline not cut your pf and bench guy for a injury prone Softy with a superstar by name and if you don't feel the same way about this trade that u did when Knicks aquired Mikal bridges then it's a bad trade "if it's not broken don't fix it" Leon Luck might have just ran out doing this dumb over the top move without evening getting to the trade deadline with the roster first was not smart move at all.

  4. As a Wolves fan I agree 100% with Kenny. Love Divi and his fit but not Randle. Nothing against Randle as he is a good player. Just dont know the fit and chemistry. I figured the Wolves would give it 1 more yr before pulling that type of trade. I get why they did the trade though. I just dont see Randle on the team after this yr….

  5. They're both just about the same age but Randle has better numbers than Towns overall. Randle is also more physical than Towns and an overall better defender than Towns. The Knicks also gave up depth here in the trade. I'm a Celtics fan but I'm also calling it how I see it.

  6. Julius Randle chose the Knicks when the other superstars ignored them. He helped build this team to where they are now. I think the guy deserves to be recognized

  7. The first round pick from the pistons that the knicks traded was not worth it, Julius, 1st round pick and Donte for KAT??

  8. If Deuce continues as he did the end of last season and Kolek develops- both take Ragu's min this year- then the Knicks win the trade. Knicks aren't done yet either, if they can still pry nick Richards without giving up Deuce, o man.

  9. KAT’s front running mindset and lack of defense has me concerned for the Knicks as a whole

  10. This trade will depend on whether the team around JB shoots well. We lost a lot of offensive rebounders in clutch moments like Ihart, Randle and even Dvo was a good rebounder/ lose ball player when we needed it. Josh hart is the only one left. The Knicks needed those because as a team we couldn’t shoot at times, I think our team shooting got much better while our rebounding greatly suffered. So let’s hope for a much better shooting year

  11. It's weird, to me, the disrespect toward Donte D. Folks act like he wasn't an active participant, during his Golden State (championship) time, bringing a championship attitude/frame of mind with him (to New York), which DEFINITELY showed itself during last years' playoffs. Kat ain't won any championships, and, looks soft when it's time to show your toughness.
And, again, as far as the toughness aspect, J. Randle was the Knicks' banger, so, who are they gonna replace TOUGHNESS with? Surely, NOBODY's pretending that KAT is gonna fill THAT void! I see injuries coming, because, SOMEBODY'S gonna have to step it up, in the toughness department, or, the other teams are gonna just bully them up & down the court. Where it had been Julius taking the beatings, incurring injuries, now, it's gonna be one of your other, more fragile/less durable, players having to try to bang with the competition.
Not pretending that NO move was the right thing (for the Knicks), but, I'm not feeling this one, in terms of the Knicks improving their chances of moving up the Eastern Conference standings. Minnesota should improve, but, as for New York…nahhh

  12. KAT and Mikael Bridges > Randle Divo. Still hurts losing Ragu. Don’t think people realized how much trouble Knicks were in at the center position before this trade

  13. I think the Knicks won this trade based on KAT's spacing alone. Brunson can get buckets. Meanwhile Hart, Anunoby and Mikal can go to work on the defensive end.

  14. If you get the best player you won the trade. I think you would have to call KAT the best guy. Feels like a salary cap move by the wolves so they can keep Naz Reid who fits Ant’s timeline better.

  15. Not worth it with DDV you are getting a guy who goes super saiyan in the playoffs and in the clutch, good shooter and defender. Dude has a lot of experience in big moments and in the playoffs. Julius Randle is hands down a double double guy, an all star all nba team who can also shoot the 3s.

Knicks gave up a lot of depth coz they were stress out about having a big man.

KAT is so inconsistent. He’s gonna be like Russell Westbrook after leaving OKC. Bookmark this comment in a few years, I’m telling you

  16. Julius Randle will be a part of T-Wolves' starting line-up. No way they traded KAT to bring in two .. "bench" players. The man is a 20-10, two-time All-Star. You think they thought, "That's great. He can come in and back up Naz Reid?" No, it's, he can make up for what they gave up.
