Looking at the long term outlook of this there is no doubt Brooklyn potentially won here 😮….
First it took the Knicks a summer to go ALL IN before Brooklyn started day 1 of their rebuild 😮😂…. They lost Julius Randle Donte Divencenzo Bojan Bogdanovic and 7 first round draft picks for Karl Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges 😨….
Essentially the Knicks expect Towns who is not a steady top defensive big in this league make up the three point scoring of Donte Divencenzo, the interior bully ball play of Julius Randle and the rebounding of Heartenstein 😨. That's a lot on Town's shoulders 😅…
Second Mikal Bridges who the Knicks sent a haul to us for might be the scoring guard next to Brunson which could be very tricky as well if Bridges isn't play-in an all star level…
While the starting five of Brunson Bridges Hart OG and Towns should win some games on paper the bench behind them looks really thin and given coach Thibbs propensity to play his main guys 38+ minutes a night it's going to be a tall task for this new core to find that right balance….
Brooklyn meanwhile is in a great position with their draft capital in front of them with two important drafts coming up, has the vets ready for trades to add even more draft capital and are bracing for a season of figuring out who exactly will be part of this new Brooklyn era of basketball going forward 😎….
