Can’t stand the narrative “he was loyal”. He should be. We’re paying him generational wealth to be healthy. Most of us knew kats a good egg. But at the end it’s a franchise. I hope ant realizes that he probably can’t win with kat as a sidekick. Especially coming into his prime

You have to assume that Ant was at least consulted beforehand. He has reached that star level where you don’t blindside him for fear of pouting or demanding a trade.
But Ant is smart and knows that depth is important in a 90+ game season and we just ran out of gas by the time Dallas came round.
