If you listen to the way Jordi talks about Clax, you can tell he’s the most excited about working with him. Originally didn’t think he would be making much of a jump from last season, but who knows?

Jordi seems like he’s gonna give Clax a green light he’s never seen in his career yet.

He’s really developed a good touch around the basket. Over the past few years, he’d go up kind of awkwardly around the basket and get a shot off in a weird way and always seemed to convert. Initially it looks like a bad shot but after a while, you expect that shot to go in. He can obviously be a roll guy and then even hit a couple of three’s (the one that stunned KD being the funniest) and when they were a contender, he even sniffed some fringe DPOY consideration while guarding multiple positions. He’s not an all star player but he’s certainly developed over the years.

Love players who work hard and carve out a nice role for themselves, especially when not much is expected of them. Claxton has been my favourite Nets player for a while now, really hope we can hold on to him as long as possible with this rebuild.
