Joe Mazzulla is being tough, but Boston Celtics trust his methods

The Boston Celtics are undergoing an intense training camp under Coach Joe Mazzulla, who is challenging the team both physically and mentally. This unconventional approach hopes to erase last year’s championship memories and refocus the Celtics on the future. Despite the rigorous demands, players are buying into Mazzulla’s methods, trusting in their potential effectiveness. The team also faces the logistical hurdles of an Abu Dhabi trip, which Mazzulla frames as another challenge to conquer. His coaching philosophy extends beyond basketball, emphasizing life lessons and resilience. Will the Celtics’ commitment to Mazzulla’s strategy pay off? Tune in for an engaging discussion on the team’s journey and insights into their evolving mindset.

  1. Mazzulla acting like a drill sergeant but it’s to keep his guys in check so they don’t get complacent after coming off winning a championship.

  2. One thing I have seen since last season is that there's not one soul in that locker that has a negative to say about Joe. They trust him. I think this year is going to be incredible.

  3. @John Thanks for always keeping us in the loop. I know I can always come here and get the real stuff and all I can do is say thank you Good Sir

  4. first listen every day!! Joe Mazzulla is truly a mastermind but he’s going to be the key to why we go back to back

  5. My mom got me your coffee table book Built Different. She has no clue that I listen to your podcast, or likely who the author is — it was an awesome surprise!

  6. This team is capable of doing very special things this year. If Kristaps comes back around December as predicted, & can stay healthy for the remainder (including playoffs) Banner 19 will come to fruition. Now that the pressure of winning that first title is off their back, I don’t think these guys will rest on their laurels. To the contrary they’ll be eager to prove last season was not “Mickey Mouse”.
