  1. Subscribe while you’re here so you don’t miss my video on the Wolves’ side of the trade 😁

  2. This move works if Thibs accepts that KAT is not, and never will be, some kind of elite defensive center, and this team has to step away from the defensive mindset he has tried to instill. You are not going to play watertight defense with Brunson and KAT on the court. He needs to embrace this team's offensive potential, and I don't know if he's capable of that.

  3. I hate that people immediately went to β€œwell Kat can’t guard Joel” LITERALLY NOBODY CAN.

  4. wolves got finnesed imo, i don't really see how randle can help the wolves. However, donte will be an asset to them with his shooting.

  5. That KAT / Jalen Brunson pick-and-pop is gonna be πŸ”₯. KAT is also capable of making good reads on the short roll.

  6. This is an excellent trade with the asset that the Knicks gave up which really is nothing. NY is the perfect situation for KAT as he can be β€œhidden” behind Hart OG, Robinson & Bridges on defense and just focus on Offense with Brunson

  7. Randle: 93% ofr, 21% dfr, 33% 3pt
    KAT: 89% ofr, 82% dfr, 40% 3pt

    People forget that Hart in the starting lineup giving us blue collar worker triple doubles (10/10/10), will be so important for a team with 39-40% shooters from 3pt. Hart is the best rebounding guard in the NBA under 6'4", and KAT averaged over 11R and 25 pts per game without Gorbert clogging the paint and Edwards taking over the 1a spot on offense. This will be a more fluid, efficient, and more effective lineup without Julius stopping the flow of the ball and without his bone head 4-5 TOs per game.

    I hate losing Donte!

  8. Brunson 41% 3pt
    Hart 37% 3pt
    Bridges 40% 3pt
    OG 40% 3pt
    KAT 41% 3pt

    Brunson > Holliday
    Hart = White
    Bridges =< Brown
    OG =< Tatum
    KAT >= KP

  9. Hey, i had hope for him, but he turned out to be a detrimentally lazy defender, a foul-out target, a player who cant create for himself, and most of all a very big baby who thinks hes lebron james. His role was essentially replaced by Naz Reid in the playoffs for a reason. Hes got alot of potential, but hes a dope, t-wolves fans really arent even mad hes gone.

  10. Career averages in Turnovers & Personal Fouls per game:

    Embiid
    3.4 TOV & 3.1 PF = 6.5

    Towns
    2.7 TOV & 3.4 PF = 6.1

    It's just crazy how people refuse to see the statistics.
    The anti-KAT narrative is just disgusting.

  11. Mitch to my pels please if he really is being shopped. Injurues yeah but thats a top 5 defense imo if we can get him

  12. Respectfully disagree about ever playing KAT at the 4 with Mitch Rob at 5. KAT’s center numbers are just way better than his PF numbers (from the limited data set that I’ve seen), and they’re both injury prone, so staggering their minutes would be better risk management imo.

    I wanna see the Knicks trade Sims and Precious for Valanciunas. I know it could be seen as a logjam at the position, but I really think KAT’s and MR’s injury history justifies it. JV played 82 games last year and he’s on a $9.9m contract, which is less than $2m more than Sims+Precious. But I could be wrong, maybe depth at a different position is better.

  13. It was a good move for NYK, and a huge risk for MIN.

    I only assume MIN mainly wanted Donte + some replacement for KAT

  14. The Wolves won the trade. KAT wasn’t even in any of the top 8 5 man wolves rotations. He is a liability. Get ready for empty stats NY. Tim Connelly is a genius, I’m trusting him. We got better now and in the future. Y’all are paying KAT a super max lol

  15. Yes, KAT is a perfect get, I think a lot of fans don't like KAT and therefore see ill in this trade, sure KAT is not Jokic or Embiid, and he's overpaied, but who else is better? Maybe Myles turner, then no one else right? And since Boston is their main target, matching up with Porzingis is the biggest priority, KAT is one of the few who just doesn't bother by a shooting big since himself is one, last year's Knicks seems good but there have no chance against the cels, but now they do, prbly not enough but there is a fighting chance.

  16. KAT will ruin the Knicks, just like he ruined the Wolves. Without him, Wolves would have been in the finals last season.

  17. Shop Robinson? Hmmmmm, I wouldn’t do that unless they can upgrade because he’s really good. We haven’t seen what KAT and Mitchell can do together.

    KAT is a center but he can play and more importantly proven he can play PF.
