Willy gave it his all as the 20th-ranked head coach, but if we want the Pelicans to truly soar, we need someone like Erik Spoelstra or Ime Udoka to take the reins.

I’m not feeling this small-ball strategy, man. We've never run that before, and it’s risky. Our weakest spot at the 5 is gonna get targeted hard by other teams, no doubt. That’ll put our scoring under pressure. Our perimeter shooters will need to knock down way more shots, and we can’t afford the slump we had in the playoffs.
Some folks might try to compare this small-ball strategy to the Warriors, but they’re forgetting one thing—we don’t have Steph or Klay on this squad. It’s a whole different game without those two.
BI’s either gonna cook or get himself cooked if he doesn’t lock in and start thinking and playing like a real pro. It’s all on him to step up.

Fan of all the incarnations of pro basketball in New Orleans since the days at the Auditorium. Elevated floor made things really interesting. So did Hot Rod and his unique, fun descriptions. I read that Will Guillory article. If I were "the rest of the NBA", I wouldn't be scared until he proves that he deserves the fear. (I hope he earns it…)
Green is Griffin's hire, and Griffin hired him specifically because Griffin wanted to control him. Thus, Griffin should be on the hot seat. Also, Green didn't give those huge, untradeable contracts to CJ and BI; Griffin did.
honestly, zion needs a big that does things he doesnt do, ie rim protection, rebounding, spot ups shooting. then BI has to shoot wayyy more 3pt attempts. then we also need somebody to create threes over those zion screen and rolls. CJ is good at that, but liability on defense plus he a mediocre passer
The Pells biggest issues over the last few years have been injuries and being too small against the best teams — which tend to be the biggest teams.. Zion, as a PF or small ball c center, tends to be a liability against those teams — particularly because he doesn't rebound nearly as well as he should

We have this episode once or twice A year for like the last 5-6 years. Zion needs to tell us he’s going to play A full season including playoffs.
Doesnt need vengeance, needs ideal health and flexibility. If he walks like a duck still best beleive those hammies gona cramp.

This small ball shit is gonna tank the season. If they expect zion to defend the 5 all game he's gonna end up hurt and in foul trouble a ton. This bs worked with the warriors for 2 reasons. Reason number 1draymond at the 5 was doable because in his prime he could guard anyone on the court damn near. He could rebound against other 5s consistently. 2 they had Stephen and klay who could run gun and shoot 3s from everywhere. As far as zion , we all love him , but something similar is said about him every summer . He needs to just have a healthy year and actually play a playoff game 🤷

What’s up Nola Jake! I call you that every time, I see you at the games. I always watch Locked On. I really feel Karlo should start. He will never get NBA experience until he plays . Also Yves needs to play..We need to get our big men ready.. The Grizzlies are gonna play Edey.. It’s to many good big men. We gotta play.. We need to play our big men in the being of the season. Against some of the weaker teams like the Bulls ..We need our big men ready playoff time!

If we want a traditional center to start games especially with the centers in the west the guy currently on the roster is Karlo. He is the best shooter from the traditional 5’s and is athletic enough to be the center defensively. He will need to get used to the speed of the NBA, but if you look at the start of games it is typically a bit slower as teams play more 1/2 court and feel each other out
We don't need no more up grades, we need to see how Willie we play them but a upgrade, we don't need. What we do need is for yall media people to leave Brandon alone and stop acting like yall speak for the fans. Brandon will be okay if yall stop speaking like We the fans don't want him here.. If yall just support the team, it will all work out..
