Have confirmed that longtime NBA veteran Tony Snell will join the Heat G League team, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, but is not expected to be with the Heat during the preseason or in camp.
Snell has been seeking 1 more year of active service in the NBA to receive the full medical benefits granted for 10 years of active service. If he can lock down a 10 day contract at some point this season he will get it. Makes sense to tag along with our oft-injured guard rotation and hope.
