[Slater] Kevon Looney closed the Warriors scrimmage today w a game-winning corner 3. Kerr wants Looney to take the occasional shot from deep. “He’s not pick-and-pop. He’s a broken play, he’s on the perimeter, shot clock, he’s open, let that thing fly. That’s different from being Kevin Love” (0:50)

I saw on Instagram that this will be Loon’s 10th year – time be flying

I’m feeling like we’re overhyping this whole Looney shooting this season thing. He’ll average less than a single midrange/perimeter shot per game.

Warriors about to become a jump shooting team.

Which is what Chuck has been saying all along.

Not saying it is bad though but I’m personally hopeful that Moody and JK get to have more minutes this season and that both or one of them makes the jump this year.

Curry deserves all the help the team can give him.

I dunno. I want to see him get some chances.

I feel like when the shot clock is at 5 Loon has the green light for a 3. This is me thinking about low shot clock and allowing reasonable time for Loon to space to the 3.

He’s not gonna be k love. Closer to Daniel Tices I think is reasonable. Like 38% on 1 attempt a game lol

He should be given the green light to waste 3 shots a game until the ASB.

Been saying this for a year. Loon needs to look at the basket and use his wet jumper to keep defences from playing them 5v4.
