The New York Knicks have made another move after the KAT trade to help improve their roster. NY has re-added forward Chuma Okeke to a training camp deal. While Okeke is a great prospect to have at camp, he wasn’t NY’s first option. Marcus Morris was but unfortunately, after the KAT trade, things weren’t the same on Morris’ side… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

Okeke is a nice guy to have at end of bench. He can do what Bridges/OG/Hart in terms of defense and hustle. Perfect guy for practice and for subbing minutes. Knicks also signed TJ Warren for camp. Only one of them makes it.
He's has a better chance playing now (Morris) that Keita bates Diop is gone , so is Randle n more then likely Okeke. I think his feelings got hurt, O well 🤷🏿
Leon Rose is definitely not sleeping on the job. From slow to "Fast & Furious" in turning the NY Knicks into an NBA championship 🏆 team beginning of the training camp.
Knicks are only $100k under the second apron after the trade. If they signed Morris he would be cut at the start of the season.

Chuma Okeke is going to make the roster he's a good player with great defense and the fact that they resigned him they seen something.
Og will be injured again. Did any body truly see how he got injured this year?? Nope. It just happens with him. Morris would have likely gotten minutes.
