I was a junior in high school, not having the best time during ITs mvp year. Every Celtics game was a bright spot in my week thanks to this guy. Iâll always appreciate him

there’s the convo about eras and pace and blah blah blah, but pure counting stats IT’s season was better than any that Iverson ever had.
Granted, Iverson eventually got to participate in the finals at a time when the East was historically weak and laughable. That was the only year Iverson ever had a 50+ win season and it probably had more to do with the team’s defense.
Meanwhile IT only got as far as the ECF, but injuries ended that run (and his career)

It stuns me there isnât a secret base style doc on YouTube or something yet about this season, call it King in the Fourth. It was truly remarkable and seems almost forgotten outside the fanbase

I feel like itâs still underrated what he did for Franchiseâs respectability. If he doesnât come here and elevate this team from the lottery to a fun playoff team, Al Horford never signs here and who knows where the trajectory of the team goes
