[Slater] Andrew Wiggins missed a third straight practice today. He’s in the gym doing some light individual work, but training staff hasn’t cleared him for team practice. Under the weather. He will not play in Saturday’s preseason opener vs Clippers in Hawaii.

He’s sick enough to need to be wearing a mask but he’s still going to practice and trying to go through as much as they’ll let him, so don’t even start with the BS in the comments I know so many of you are itching to spew.

Got to wonder if he got a new COVID variant because he hasn’t been keeping up with his vaccinations. I got COVID a second time myself despite getting each booster as it was available. The second time was MUCH milder than the first — like a mild cold vs. life-threatening the first time — so either the booster or some acquired immunity helped. Wiggs was certainly resistant about the vaccine the first time around.
