  1. Much better than he being a completely wasted asset like last season.
Considering the lack of front court depth, I'd say they have to use him. Even if, or especially if they do plan to use him as a trade chip later. He had no value after sitting so much last season.
I love his energy and look fwd to seeing him on the floor.

  2. In 2020 and 2022 we gave him a bag and we just never utilized him as much as we should have. I'm glad they're realizing that he's capable and will give him some more reps this season because he deserves it. There's gaps in his game but I'm assuming after last season and how he was treated he's worked on those gaps

  3. Darko's quote on Boucher sounds dumb and dumber. Boucher always puts in the off-season work. Darko is acting like Boucher isn't the Raptors all time leader in points scored off of the bench. Not every player is a development project. Some players are what they are in the NBA especially at 30 plus years of age like Boucher. Darko should have played Boucher more last season. What's the use of having him on the roster if he's not going to play (when healthy)? The Raptors need a real experienced head coach not a developmental head coach. Developing players and a head coach with a questionable coaching staff at the same time spells trouble in my mind.

  4. Boucher has a ridiculous contract and no one paying 10M for him. Best to stop gap at 4 then trade as filler|expiring. He don't fit under Darko.

Feels like Basically same thing happening like Pascal. Gonna recoup value then trade at deadline.

  5. Raptors fans (I like them honestly), have serious difficulty evaluating the value of their players, Siakam for example… the truth is that nobody else is interested in boucher and he's too old for your timeline and his years in the league make him more expensive than he should be for what he does compared to a young guy on a rookie scale contract… his main value is devotion to Toronto.

  6. Plot twist: They’re just building up his trade value.. it’s harder to get value for a guy if teams know he’s not even getting minutes on your team.

  7. Boucher!!! Lego slim duck, man on the bench unit with these guys, can make a HUGE diff

  8. Finally put some size on him I hope he gets minutes and goes off this year hard work gets you great results . Go Slim Duck! 😎

  9. give boucher a chance to play, he’s been with the raptors for a long time now. He earned those minutes.
