Weaklings look for moments where you have something to lose to bait you in to see if they can shine on you and control you. Cowards prey on those moments to try to mentally break you. They actually want you to harm them because they fear you. It's the fast track. This is extremely normal and natural for people and it's one of those things that Pilgrims have imprinted on us.
