OKC Thunder Bit By Injury Bug, Who Will Step up? Predictions Ahead of Preseason!

The Oklahoma City Thunder have seen the injury bug bite them with Kenrich Williams and Jaylin Williams each suffering injuries. Can Ousmane Dieng step up in that absence? Is Dillon Jones going to fill the void of a small ball big man? Will the Minnesota Timberwolves still be a threat with Julius Randle in place of Karl-Anthony Towns? Will Chet Holmgren play in less games this season for the Thunder? Where will Oklahoma City finish this season in the regular season? Will the Thunder make the NBA Finals? Nick Crain joins Rylan Stiles to discuss.

  1. If memory serves, both Kenny and JWill were out with minor issues last year. Rylan is right, this is Oes's time and he can either jump on board or risk missing the bus altogether. Life is short and a NBA career even shorter. Potential will only get you an opportunity, but at the end of the day it is up to Oes to grab that opportunity and hold on tight.

  2. Ozu problems appear to be on the defensive end and willing to play like a dog. Too passive. He is still very young and a great shooter. He may not fit in our style but shooters are wanted.

  3. As an ex AAU coach I always went into competitions with no expectations, and i would always tell my team that too, it help them relax and have fun. We won a lot of comps and they always said it's fun to win, and when we have fun, we win.
