Josh Minott led the Timberwolves with 22 points and 8 rebounds while rookies Rob Dillingham (21 points, 4 assists) and Terrance Shannon Jr (14 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists) combine for 35 points in the win. Donte DiVincenzo put up 11 points (3/3 3PT FG) for the Timberwolves. Austin Reaves tallied 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the Lakers while Dalton Knecht totaled 16 points, 3 rebounds in his preseason debut. The Timberwolves move to 1-0 in the preseason while the Lakers fall to 0-1.
