We have two solid ex-coaches on the team who can easily take over if things don’t go well. Although I really doubt they do that without giving JJ a full year. With that being said, I loved what I saw out there. They fought and stuck with it and got back in the game. You can already see that this team will have grit, just like McMillan and Brooks’ coached teams. JJ’s demeanor was great to see. He has a presence that already commands respect, at least from the guys who were active last night. The younger players like Max and Knectch will definitely benefit from his coaching style.
