How many times are they going to ask about this leader crap? You canāt convince me Scottie is more prepared to lead than RJ, IQ, Jakob, Kelly. This is the silliest talking point. If it were to happen weād see it. A guy canāt be proclaimed leader outside of the locker room. So silly.

I'm looking forward to a monster season from Scottie. Darko needs to do a better job coaching his guys on the defensive end this season. Having defensive stopper like OG and now D. Mitchell won't help much if the coach doesn't know what he's doing. But Iām expecting a better season! šŖšŖšŖ
I foresee a top 5 pick this coming year. Hoping we fill the backcourt position and get edgecomb from Baylor. During free agency next year it might be time to pivot from poetl and get a young centre with upside. Claxton would be my ideal centre for this team and would be 27 next year. A squad of quickley, edgecomb, Barrett, Barnes and claxton would be solid. Youād have a solid bench with Mitchell, Walterās, gradey agbachi, and olynyk off the bench. Celtics as the best team in the east have a short window. Two best players are in their prime but horford is likely playing his final seasonal at 38. Jrue will be 35 next summer and porzingis has 2 years left on his deal. They definitely wonāt be able to resign him and with his injury history will see a decline soon. Having two max contracts on payroll and a team over the second Apron. New ownership as well, will make them cheap out in some places. 76ers will likely have a larger fall off having 6 guys on the roster who will play minutes for them 30+ years old. Iām speaking of embid, George, Lowry, Gordon, Drummond and Reggie Jackson. Their best player has a career average of 54 games played per season. That doesnāt include the two missed first seasons. Milwaukee has some of their best players and starters, who are 30+ years old. Dame, Lopez and Middleton I believe are declining right now. I would not be surprised if the next big superstar traded was Gianniās. In a year or two lillard will be 36 and Middleton 35. Lopez will be retired and him and Portis will be playing more centre position. Masai playing the long game , letās hope he gets to see it before the city and ownership turns on him.
