As Knick fans we tend to fall in love with our players. Especially the players that we complain about for years yet after we trade them (juju) they become all time greats in our minds. If you hear some of our fans Juju is better than Tim Duncan and is a killer in the playoffs. Somehow Juju has become a clamp down defensive player as well.
A big thank you to Jon Krawczynski for giving this honest, and commendable commentary on KAT. There are so many layers to KAT, but so much to admire about his selflessness as well as love for basketball. I believe he is going to give all he got to the Knicks, and as Jon says he really just want to be a team player and be a part of something great. I cannot wait to see it all come together🧡💙
I will miss Ju and Donte, but I want to see how things play out atleast till december to decide if this was a bad trade or not.

I really think Kat needs to change his mindset for the Knicks to win big. He is our only post presence on the team. I think he needs to focus more on being a BIG that can shoot rather than a Shooting big. KAT should dominate mismatches in the post and attack the rim off the pick & roll instead of settling for threes all the time. We dont need another Andrea Bargnani
Ive been simming alot with KAT on 2K and I DO NOTTTT like what i see lmaooooo … KAT gonna have to play the 4 w/ Mitchy unless OG becomes a true 4
I don't like all these reports of trading the Blockness monster for a guard. Latest name is Marcus Smart who I like, but only played 20 games last season and will make around 20 million this year. We stay trying to load up on guards with no front court depth. After KAT at the 5, we don't have much. Unless they're thinking of starting of KAT, OG, Bridges, Smart and Brunson to make up for defensive issues with Hart, Deuce and Precious coming off the bench.

I believe Kat as is not as soft as people claim he is and he is no softer than KD and this moniker doesn't seem to follow KD and is as prevalent and ferociously follows Kat, which seems unfair just because JImmy Butler said it. But people who is as tough as Jimmy not to many players in the nba have the tenacity Jimmy does and this doesn't make them soft. Just a thought. Let's go Knicks. Garden will will be on 🔥 all year.

I instantly discredit anyone who calls a pro athlete soft. The amount of work, dedication and resiliency required just to make it to the NBA is more than any person watching at home has in their jobs. The laziest NbA player works harder than any blue collar American does in their lives. Calling players soft is just a way for no talent losers to project their failure onto pro athletes who have accomplished more before they are 30 than most people will accomplish in their lifetime
I was on the fence with this Katt trade because we saw at one point The Knicks had a formula of championship basketball!! We never got to see a fully healthy Knick team last year, Minnesota will be a better team also
People can say what they want about KAT, but he is class through & through
I don't think many fans consider how a player deals with a tragedy or being unhappy but not asking for a trade as sioft as much as seeing a lack of hunger and ferocity in the court. KAT, I think more so in the first four or five years of his career didn't seem harmed by losses. I didn't think he would overcome it and in the last three or so years I believe he has, to a large extent, but I don't think there are a lot of fans looking at home a players deals with a parent's dying against them or as soft.
“ The killer instinct the dog mentality” is my primary concern with Kat too. I Hart and Dante had it to the max as we all witnessed. I believe that within our team culture led by Brunson Kat will absorb and grow into it perhaps not to the same degree but good enough for a championship run.
