We need a 4 and a 5 until Mitch comes back. We don’t need another guard.
For context…the reason why the Knicks would consider Marcus Smart is because by adding Josh Hart to the starting lineup, the Knicks would want to add a Josh Hart-type player to their bench unit so they’re not losing much in that respect. They can either do that or trade for a 2/3 starting-level type player (I.e. Trey Murphy III), and move Josh Hart back to the bench.
We need DEPTH! All these trades is leaving us with no bench.
Duece has stepped up every time he was asked to last year and is in a good contract. I think we should keep Precious. He did great last year on the offensive boards. We lost hartenstein and mitch will be out for a while. We need someone to get offensive boards besides Hart.
Lets see what kolek does. If he can create i would go all in for back up center/PF

So towns is always hurt and so is OG so why are we trading mitch? He's coming back after the start of the season so he'll be fresh and he's not going to miss a beat since he always comes off injury. What would smart even do on this team?

Doesnt make sense. Knicks already have a marcus smart with higher upside and making 17m less. Knicks need to go for a center or a wing.
