I think this season is the time that that would change. As good as he is in the previous seasons, you can’t deny that he has glaring issues. Before, his three-ball is not good enough and his ball handling is weak which is important with this turnover-prone team. This game tho, his shot is wet and he looks more comfortable handling the ball.

In all seriousness, they went out got several players to compete for Moodys minutes. They wouldn’t do that if they felt good about Moody playing substantial minutes. It’s weird to me, but it is what it is.

He should be starting and I don’t think it’s particularly close. Wiggins is lazy. Kuminga can’t shoot. Melton is small. Podz doesn’t have nba athleticism and isn’t an outlier with skill/touch.
Moody is the best combo of shooting size defense and motor and he’s got experience atp

I think he will get a legitimate chance this year. It would’ve never happened in previous seasons because he had a Hall of Famer ahead of him on the depth charts. He definitely deserves it

Moody gonna make a defensive stats leap this year for sure. His offence I think is already strong. He just needs to be more fluid and he’ll be the best wing player on our bench after wiggins and Kuminga; and I’m saying yes he’s better than Deanthony melton (cause of the size and length plus warriors system reps) and he’s better than gp2 (same reasons plus more dynamic on offence) therefore being an elite 2 way guy. (Moody ceiling to me is Mikael bridges)
