this is a win in my book. We looked so good today
At the very least, we look competent. Which is far more than you can say about past preseason openers lmao.
We looked awesome today. Lamelo/Miller/Miles three + Mark when he’s healthy will be great. Mann is looking like a great sixth man and Salaun is looking way better than most of us thought he would be. We played very well against a very good Knicks team for nearly the entire game- not worried about our third string losing to theirs.
Tidjane est un PROBLÈME
Almost 30 years of age and I still don’t understand how a professional basketball player can’t hit free throws at least 85% of the time. Like dude. It’s free. You’ve been doing this for at least 10-15 years of your life. The mechanics literally haven’t changed.
And this isn’t even a dig at Simpson. Taj Gibson started playing in the NBA when cellphones were invented and the guy whiffed both of his.

Tidjane Salaun has already improved so much from summer league, I’m so excited to see how he progresses this season and throughout his career

I see people already criticizing some these of guys but ehh it’s game 1 and its preseason. Let’s see what happens in the next 4 games.
I don’t understand getting hyped over a pre-season game? LaMelo, Miller and Bridges had good minutes but it’s too early to judge.
