Giannis is dumb for that. The whole point of letting any player take the FT is that it prevents teams from cobtinuing to to exploit take fouls with a low risk.
If your fouling just to stop the play, then it’s not a basketball play anyway and you shouldn’t be able to pick who will shoot the shots.

They lack vision. Make it legal to wet Willy someone. Make bouncing the ball off the ground into the hopp worth 6 points. Ban dribbling with the left hand. Theres a giant tortoise roaming around on the floor and if you touch him with the ball you can have 6 players for that possession. There’s so many great options.

There should be rules for the ref, if there is blatant bias, favoritism, or blatant corruption. Punishments, warnings, or straight up bans would be nice.

Reserve techs for personal insults that cross the line. But if a player does a pro wrestling taunt, calls somebody soft, or says “come on, ref” that can’t be a tech.
