MPJ is the key this year. Feed him and Nuggets win the chip. Don't? Pray you don't play OKC in the playoffs.
If they could trade Murray for Booker or some similar quality player yes they would be contenders.
Murray is 13-15 best point guard in the league
MPJ and Gordon are not in top 10 at their position
Even Jokic is the best center in NBA, but is this enough.
For example. Tatum is the best PF in the league. Brown is top 5 SF, White is top 10 SG, KP is top 10 center and Holiday is 13-17 best PG.
Embiid has 2 top 10 teammates.
Doncic has Kyrie and lot of energy from others more shooting and size.
Minnesota Gober top 10 center and a lot of size and shooting.
New York similar to Minnesota.
Oklahoma a lot of energy and youth potential.
Denver is weaker than all this teams, without Jokic they would be 30 wins team not more.
No talk about how MPJ got cooked at least twice on defense during that first half on preseason gm 1? Hmm. Ok.
I’ll never understand the hype he gets nor the passes he gets from fans.
Nuggets look short, not enough quality play making outside of Jok. The more I think about it the more distressed I feel about Jok not getting to play with another prime time player during his career, no all-star, all-defense or all-nba guy. MJ had Scottie the difference between him winning 1/none and 6.
