Title is phrased weird cause posts with both Woj and Shams in the title get taken down automatically

  2. GOAT_Redditor

Aka Woj has been internally suffering and he wishes the same on Shams

  3. rabid89

Same vibes of telling someone “I hope you have as pleasant a day as you are as a person (with the fakest smile)”

  4. Can’t wait to see if he follows the footsteps of Shaq and starts trying to tear down the person following them.

“Reporters were DOMINANT back in my day. People camped out my twitter during trade deadlines”.

God has truly blessed us with these talents and I pray that the passing of the torch from one great insider to the other is as seamless and smooth as the quality of their prose. Let’s hope Mr. Shams can fill the massive void Mr. Woj has left for basketball fans around the world and across the universe.

Why is espn treating these dudes like they’re brain surgeons. The dude tweets. He got replaced by another guy who tweets. Cool.

On top of that I guarantee Shams is making more than Zach Lowe was

Woj is extremely upset you can tell 😭

  8. TrickleUp_

It’s very clear that Woj was broken internally by that job. He left a ridiculous amount of money on the table and that screams…unhappy.

Shams is young , so who knows

  9. halfdecenttakes

Subtle shade from somebody who noped out of that job.

“Hope this place leaves you as empty as it left me”

Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me

  11. IShowerinSunglasses

What else would he have possibly said?

  12. IntelligentEye2758

Big “May you live in interesting times” energy

  13. Stallion049

It would have been pretty funny if Woj was the one to announce the hiring.

  14. Bigpoppahove

This job was way more relevant 10+ years ago, likely 15 or more at this point but get that money

  15. ItsLe0n

woj made millions and to piss at a urinal with a phone in his hand. Doesn’t seem like a bad gig.

  16. roadtrippingsolo

Do they know they don’t need to cover internal ESPN moves like its fking NBA Free Agency lmao – no one actually cares where Shams is working just give us the tweets

  17. Pipes_of_Pan

This job is bizarre to me. Why does someone need to scoop the press releases for Marcus Morris getting waived by the Knicks? There’s almost zero insight in the reporting. Why was Woj driving himself into an early grave to get these dumb tweets out

  18. Yellow_Curry

holy shit this is like “i hope you live in interesting times” shade.

  19. Pyritedust

This gives off “May you live in interesting times” vibes to me.

Apprentice at tweeting things someone else texts you. Must be complex stuff.

  21. UnhappyTelevision243

What are these comments talking about? He didn’t seem upset or bothered at all in this video.

I always love when redditors make fun of Woj and Charania and yet spam f5 near the draft/trade deadline. Or they make any Woj and Charania tweet more upvoted than any actual basketball analysis.

  23. ntrubilla

Who cares, where the fuck is my Zach Lowe

  24. d-wadeisthegoat

I can’t wait to see the NBA senior insider GOAT debates, do we already have people tracking Woj and Shams stats?

  25. youblewwit

I’ve always wondered what the relationship was between Woj and Shams because didn’t Woj basically bring Shams up when they were at Yahoo? It was odd to me in the last 6 years I haven’t heard any mention between the two about each other until today.

  26. Sham will just train his new apprentice.

Two there should be. No more, no less. One to embody power, the other to crave it.
