I wanted the mavs to go undefeated in preseason for once, but I’m not mad at this loss. The grizzlies played all their starters at some point and the mavs played 1. Klay, LuKai,not pj played, AND they had exhibit 10 guys balling out of control 😅. This mavs team is one of the deepest in the league and no one bats an eye. Somehow the Twa that ran through the west without a game 7 managed to get leaps and bounds better, and somehow people don’t think they’re a top 4 team 🤯🤯🤯. I’m excited. Like I said at the end of last season before all these trades, we will go into this season being slept on and by the playoffs we’ll be every “analyst’” “dark horse”. This is my other take I’ve been saying since KCP was on the market. If THIS mavs team manages to get a player like KCP/BI type player, then prepare for a mavs dynasty. Most of this team is under contract already, if the mavs manages to get a 6’10 4 that can create his own, dribble, pass, shoot, AND defend at a high level like a BI, and then get that player on a decent contract then the WCF will be going thru falls for the next 5 years at least barring major injury. Rn is the prime market to buy low on a player like BI too. His value thru the basement for some reason and his team don’t want him. I’m feeling like B.I is the icing on the cake, the ribbon on the gift. Not to mention we got Naji, he might be ale to convince bi fr 😂
